I was inspired to write Lament, Prayer and Renewal because of the COVID-19 Pandemic, but the same mood could be felt in many situations where a person first feels a sense of loss, followed by a period of prayer or reflection, then hopefully a renewal and recovery.

The Guitar part can be played on either an Electric or Classical Guitar. In addition to this version for Tenor Saxophone and Electric Guitar, there is another version of Lament, Prayer and Renewal for Violin and Guitar.
