HammerKlavierOlaLola for Piano Solo (or any number of Pianos)

HammerKlavierOlaLola has as its inspiration, the first movement of Beethoven's monumental "Hammerklavier" Sonata, Op. 106, mixing in an early 1960s Rock and Roll flavor. Even though the work is a little over one minute long, I manage to squeeze in quotes from three themes and the coda.

HammerKlavierOlaLola was written originally for solo piano, but sounds great with any number of pianos playing the work simultaneously.

With the 250th anniversary year of Beethoven's birth coming in 2020, Aaron Alter's HammerKlavierOlaLola might be particularly interesting to pianists desiring to perform something new, yet in the spirit of Beethoven's works.
