I was inspired to write Lament, Prayer and Renewal because of the COVID-19 Pandemic, but the same mood could be felt in many situations where a person first feels a sense of loss, followed by a period of prayer or reflection, then hopefully a renewal and recovery.

The Guitar part can be played on either a Classical or Electric Guitar.  In addition to this version for Violin and Guitar, there is another version of Lament, Prayer and Renewal for Tenor Saxophone and Electric Guitar.
