Sorelle Women's Chorus Concert, A Thousand Sweet Refrains

Sorelle Women's Chamber Chorus presents "A Thousand Sweet Refrains", a concert featuring the music of Johannes Brahms, Imogen Holst and the West Coast Premiere of Aaron Alter's Lo Lanu Ha-Shem (a setting of Psalm 115) with flute, harp, two horns, double-bass and tambourine. The Brahms work is the Four Songs, Op. 17 for Women's Chorus, Two Horns and Harp and the Holst work is the "Welcome Joy and Welcome Sorrow" for Women's Chorus and Harp.
Suggested donation at the door is $20 ($10 Students.) Partial proceeds benefit the P.E.O. International Peace Scholarship Fund. Funded in part by the City of Carlsbad Cultural Arts Office.
