Aaron Alter

Third Street Music School piano department chair and instructor Joan Forsyth will be performing a diverse program with guests. Works include Aaron Alter's "Toccata-Variations on a Theme by Charlie Parker" for solo piano, Mozart's Sonata for Two Pianos, Beethoven Violin Sonatas, songs from the Mascha Kaleko Project - a consortium of contemporary composers exploring the poetry of Mascha Kaleko. Also on the program are works by Jonathan Dawe and William Anderson. The guest performers are Jan Loffler, piano; Juliet Kim, violin; William Anderson; guitar and Elizabeth Farnum.
